MK Stalin, son of former Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi, is set to be elected president of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in Chennai on Tuesday.
The 65-year-old had formally filed his nomination papers for the publish on Sunday.
While Stalin’s coronation is expected to be a smooth affair, with all 65 district secretaries of the DMK owning proposed his identify, his brother MK Alagiri, who was expelled from the celebration in 2014, has warned of “implications” if he is not taken back into the occasion.
